How do I factory reset iPhone 11 with buttons？- from the Apple Community

Despite resetting your iPhone is scary to most people, there may be data loss risk inherited, we’ll still need to reset our iPhone for some knotty problems. It is crucial to know that there are two main reset operations that you can perform. Soft Reset, and Factory Reset. They are greatly different.
Soft Reset or Reboot.
A soft reset is a simple restart of your iPhone. There is the truth that you just turn your device off and on.

Note: By doing this, you are going to wipe all the data on your iPhone.

A hard restart is a great way to easily fix your iPhone when it has crashed or the screen is frozen. A hard restart should be performed via the combined pressing of the iPhone buttons.
Step 1: Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
Step 2: Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
Step 3: Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears. Keep holding and wait patiently.
Try to force restart once more to check if the trouble on your iPhone is fixed.
Part 3. Factory Reset your iPhone X/XR/XS(Max) or 11 Pro (Max)/12 Pro (Max) with the third-party iOS System Recovery Software.

A soft reset is simple and can fix minor software problems, this is my preferred trying method to recover the iPhone to normal with the least strength. There is a chance of success
Step 1: Press and hold either volume button and the side button on iPhone X/XS(Max)/XR/11(Pro, Max)/12(mini, Pro, Max).
Step 2: Drag the slider, and wait for your device to turn off.
Step 3: To turn on the iPhone 10/11/12 all related series device, press and hold the side button until You see the Apple logo.
