Can’t Sign Out of Apple ID on Mac -Why and How to Sign Out.

There are similar reasons for you can’t sign out of your Mac as on your iPhone or iPad. Check if there are any connection errors or if there are any restrictions. Connect your Mac to an active internet connection.
If you want to sign out on your Mac, just follow the below steps. If there are any restrictions.
Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Screen Time.
Click the button Turn off beside “Screen Time for this Mac”.
If you’ve set up the screen time restrictions on another device, turn off it on that device. Once you set the screen time passcode, you’ll need to turn it off and disable the screen time. Later, you can sign out of your Mac.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences.
- Click Apple ID, then click Overview. If you use macOS High Sierra or earlier, click iCloud.
- Click Sign Out.

If you enabled the screen time passcode on your Mac, the Sign Out option should be greyed out. To fix it, you should turn off your screen time passcode on the Mac.
Go to System Preference > Screen Time > Option, Untick the option Use Screen Time Passcode and Enter the screen time passcode to disable it.
Later, when you navigate to the Apple ID page, the Sign Out option is highlighted, and you can sign out.
